How far in advance should I reserve a Charter service?

Compass transfers recommend that you make a reservation as soon as possible. An early reservation can save disappointment from our service not being available.

Our peak season is the Summer Easter and Christmas period. Summer is ideal for Wine Tours, Weddings and Special Events. Easter and Christmas are ideal for people to travel overseas or interstate.

 

 

 

Is a deposit required?

Deposits are required for Charter Services such as Wine Tours, Wedding Party Transfers, Special Event Transfers and School Balls. The deposit is 20%, and is non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Compass Transfers accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Cash payments.

Is smoking allowed in the vehicle?

For the benefit of all guests, smoking is not allowed in our vehicle. 

Can we have alcohol in your vehicle?

At this point in time, Compass Transfers does not hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate. However, we are endeavouring to apply for and RSA in the near future. 

Please look out for updates on this policy.

For Wine Tours, we allow unopened bottlers of wine, beer or spirits into the vehicle that have been purchased on the day.

Flat Rate Fees

All quotations are fixed, and we do not charge “Peak Rate” fares for any of our services.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking for a Wine Tour, Wedding Party Transfer, Special Event Transfer or School Ball is cancelled, the following cancellation fees will apply:

* 20% of the total booking amount if you cancel for any reason (this is the non-refundable deposit);

* 25% of the total booking amount if cancelled within 7 days notice of your first journey, but not less than 96 business hours;

* 50% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 96 hours notice of your first journey, but not less than 48 hours;

* 100% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice of your first journey.
